I told you about my MacBook Pro that came with a little 200GB hard-drive, and my willingness to upgrade it with a modern 500GB hard-drive that have far more space and offers better performances

So it’s time, and I prepare myself to upgrade, backuping my Mac OS X partition in 2-ways (using my TimeMachine and Carbon Copy Cloner), and my Windows Vista partition using WinClone.

I will also reinstall totally Mac OS X and the different applications I use, create new Account for personal use, development and administration, and resize the Windows Vista partition (from 40GB to 60GB).

I will told you about all that while doing my tasks. My firsts is to list all Applications installed and select the one I would like to keep or upgrade, from the one I wont reinstall, and then do a full bootable backup using Carbon Copy Cloner.
